Your Mission

The current automotive trend is to have a more and more distributed architecture, and we would like to decompose the problem to easily scale, quickly deploy on new HW and maintain updating robustness and reusability.

Sneak preview of your future tasks

This role involves working closely with our experienced software architects and development teams to create a comprehensive handbook that outlines the required architectural changes. The documented architecture will serve as a foundation for reworking the existing codebase to meet new requirements related to updating vehicle software. In details, you will be involved with:

Documentation Development:

  • Collaborate with software architects to understand the current architecture and the necessary modifications.
  • Document the architecture in a detailed and structured manner, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to support the documentation.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on best practices in software architecture within the automotive industry, with a specific focus on software updates.
  • Analyze the current codebase to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with new architectural requirements for updates.

Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams including software developers, testers, and project managers to gather input and feedback.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to discuss architectural requirements and progress.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the handbook meets the company’s standards for technical documentation.
  • Revise and update the documentation based on feedback from stakeholders.

Learning and Development:

  • Take advantage of mentorship opportunities from senior team members.
  • Gain hands-on experience in software architecture and automotive software development.

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in the automotive industry (e.g., C, C++, Python).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus.
