(Principal) Procurement Officer – Processes (all genders) – Bulgaria

Your Mission

  • You take responsibility for streamlining and digitalization of the procurement process and implementing procurement policies.
  • You contribute to various projects, where your subject matter expertise is crucial.
  • You develop procurement process documentation, driving trust in and understanding of the processes at various levels in the organization.
  • Your focus will be also on establishing and enhancing relationships with key internal stakeholders, to ensure business needs are being met and in line with corporate standards and processes.
  • You perform risk assessments on potential or existing contracts and agreements, as well as for ensuring compliance with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
  • You develop and execute procurement strategies, including market research to identify potential key suppliers, evaluate product quality and negotiate contracts.

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in managing procurement activities in a multinational company.
  • Experience with process management and process tools.
  • Very good knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellence in MS Office. Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) as well as Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence) would be considered as a strong advantage. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Bulgarian contract law.
  • Proficient in English, German is an advantage.
